Service Refund and Cancellation Policy
Milestone-Based Work and Deposits
Because website design and development services involve dedicated engineering hours, creative strategy, and custom coding, we operate on a structured, milestone-based payment model.
- Initial Deposit: The upfront deposit required to initiate your project covers administrative setups, discovery workshops, and initial wireframing. This deposit is non-refundable once design work has commenced.
- Milestone Approval: Project payments are split into clearly defined phases (e.g., Design Approval, Development Staging, Final Launch). Once a milestone is reviewed, approved, and paid for by the client, the funds for that completed phase are non-refundable.
Project Cancellation
Clients retain the right to cancel a project at any point during the development journey.
- Work in Progress: If a project is canceled mid-phase, the client is responsible for paying for all professional hours logged and work completed up to the date of written cancellation.
- Delivery of Assets: Upon cancellation and settlement of any outstanding balances for logged hours, Crazy Web Designer will hand over all completed graphics, wireframes, or code files generated up to that point.
Website Support and Care Plans
For ongoing website maintenance, hosting, and technical support services:
- Subscription Terms: Support packages are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis. You can cancel your support plan at any time with a 30-day written notice.
- No Prorated Refunds: We do not offer prorated refunds for unused days within a billing cycle once the monthly period has begun.
Third-Party Costs
Crazy Web Designer often integrates third-party tools to enhance your platform, such as premium WordPress themes, specific plugins, hosting environments, or domain names.
- External Fees: All payments made to third-party providers are completely subject to their individual terms and conditions. Crazy Web Designer cannot issue refunds for external licenses, hosting fees, or domain registrations purchased on behalf of the client.
Client Delay and Project Dormancy
Smooth project delivery requires active, timely feedback.
- Dormancy Clause: If a project stalls for more than 30 consecutive days due to a lack of client communication, materials, or feedback, the project will be categorized as dormant.
- Reactivation Fee: To resume a dormant project, a reactivation fee may apply to reallocate developer resources, and any previous deposits or completed milestone payments will remain non-refundable.
